Purchased for the kitchen in order to see who is calling and it has been exactly what I wanted.
I am very pleased with the Panasonic KX-TS600W.It provides good amplification on a poor connection, far from the phone companies' switching office.Caller ID is very useful. There are many other futures I have yet to try.
I purchased the Panasonic KX-TS600W Integrated Corded Telephone System.After looking at Wal-mart, Stapes,and a couple other places this is the closest we could come to what we was looking for. It's a good buy.
While I am pleaed with my new telephones: a more readable screen would be a large improvement.
Do not buy this phone. There was no way to clear/fix the display and I was outside of the return window to send it back. I bought this phone in April. By the end of June, the rocker button (up-down-left-right) didn't work and the time display would resent to 000 when you tried to review calls. By the end of July, none of the buttons worked. I would give this product no stars if this tool would let me.
